"With Philipp Kosloh, we have been able to attract a high-calibre successor and respected industry expert for the TRICOR Group," emphasizes Kyle Baker, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of TRICOR Packaging & Logistics AG. "With his extensive experience, he will consistently expand our company's market leadership in Europe," Baker continues.

Kosloh, previously serving as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Progroup AG and as General Manager at Smurfit Kappa, brings over 30 years of experience in the paper and packaging industry. After studying engineering in Berlin and obtaining an MBA in London, the educated packaging technologist can now dedicate himself to his passion for sustainable packaging solutions at TRICOR.

Robert Wiblishauser, CEO of the TRICOR Group since May of last year, will step down from his position after the handover is complete, leaving the group as planned at the end of the year to pursue new challenges.

Kyle Baker said, “On behalf of the entire Supervisory Board, I would like to thank Robert Wiblishauser for his 20 years of dedication as CFO and CEO of the TRICOR Group. With his professionalism and exemplary personal commitment, he has significantly advanced and shaped the company.”

"TRICOR is excellently positioned in the market as a specialist in industrial packaging solutions," says Philipp Kosloh, CEO of the TRICOR Group. "I look forward to taking on this exciting task and, together with the team, making TRICOR one of the most innovative and customer-oriented companies in the industry," Kosloh adds.

To achieve this, TRICOR will also consistently expand its product offering for semi-bulk and industrial packaging. The company will invest 170 million euros in the construction of another site near the Dutch border (Region Weeze/Goch). The facility will be built to the highest energy efficiency standards and will have one of the highest levels of automation in the industry. It is set to start operations in the third quarter of 2025 and will have a production capacity of up to 200 million square meters of heavy-duty corrugated cardboard per year.
