TRICOR Group expands Executive Board

Tom Wetzel takes over Operations as COO

TRICOR Group, the leading specialist for innovative industrial packaging solutions, is expanding its Executive Board team with Tom Wetzel as of 1 January 2025. In his new role as COO, Wetzel, who has held a management position at the company since April 2024, will be responsible for operations at the company's 16 European sites. 

Tom Wetzel brings more than 20 years of industry experience from well-known international companies in the paper and packaging sectors. In addition to his high level of technical expertise, Wetzel has extensive experience in managing multi-site and international teams. Previously, he was General Manager at Smurfit Kappa and led various business units at DS Smith and most recently at Wipak.
